Coconut Beet Lassi

When I was young, a glass of beetroot juice was almost a religious ritual at home, serving as a vaccine against ill health that boosted strength and energy, and gave my skin a natural blush. Back in wintry Poland, in times of necessity, it was a medicinal, strong-flavored drink– but this new beet blend is a fantastic flavor-rich twist on the old. If you use the DOPE Naturally Beet blend it will add the additional superfoods of mangosteen, cacao, and baobab to the mix to pack extra energy into this glassful of dynamite.

  • 1 mango (or not in season, 1 pear)
  • 2 cups pineapple
  • 2 raw beets, peeled and washed, or use 1 serving of DOPE Naturally Beet Bliss
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • Coconut water to dilute

Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth.  Try adding ½ cup of ground tiger nut instead of chia as an option. You can also just use filtered water to dilute the blend, but coconut water or milk and cashew milk are nutritious flavorful options.
